Vaishik Kota Introduction

 Hey Delegates!


My name is Vaishik Kota and I will be a Vice-Chair for this year's Joint Cabinet Crisis. I am a freshman at Berkeley intending on majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology & Business Administration on the pre-med track. I've been a part of Model UN for the past 4 years and have competed in BMUN every year since. I'm super excited to be chairing JCC this year because I feel like crisis really brings out the best in every delegate!

When I'm not debating the world's issues, I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, binging Netflix, and spending way too many hours on FIFA and 2K. I am also a proud Miami Heat and will talk about basketball forever.

 Hi delegates! I'm Jocelyn, and it is my pleasure to be one of the vice chairs for JCC this year. I'm a freshman studying Business Administration in the Haas Global Management Program and intending to double major in Political Economy. Position Paper Guidelines

Hello Delegates!     With conference approaching soon, I wanted to reach out and share a couple of deadlines, as well as resources, with all of you.      Our first deadline for position papers is coming up next Tuesday, February 2nd. This deadline is for any delegates wishing to qualify for a research award. The following deadline for position papers is Tuesday, February 9th . If you wish to qualify for any conference awards, you must submit your position paper by the second deadline. Due to JCC being a crisis committee, we will be using specific position paper guidelines that can be found on our committees page , alongside our topics synopsis and executive summary. All position papers must be submitted via Huxley, our conference site, and information to successfully submit a paper through Huxley can be found at the bottom of our position paper guide.     When writing your position paper, I would suggest heavily focusing on your actor's pol...

Jinwei Zhang Introduction

     My name is Jin Wei Zhang and I have the pleasure of serving as your vice chair for BMUN LXVIV’s JCC Committee. I am currently a junior at UC Berkeley, studying computer science and economics. I joined BMUN during my freshman year, so this is my third year in BMUN and fifth year in MUN overall. Originally from Guang Zhou, China, I grew up mostly in Vancouver, Canada.
